Dr. Andy Choi was born in South Korea and moved to Canada when he was 15. After he completed the Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, he moved to New York and received the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2013. He pursed the further dental education at Flushing Hospital as a part of general dental residency program. During the residency, he learned and obtained the advanced dental skills such as surgical wisdom extractions, implant placement with restoration, crown lengthening, and surgical endodontic surgery.

Dr. Choi decided to stay in U.S.A for one more year and worked in Queens, New York and Connecticut to provide the dental care to the community.

In 2015, Dr. Choi and his lovely wife moved to Canada to be close to his parents and friends. Since then he has been working at Library District Dental and has been treating a number of patients performing the various dental procedures:

Diagnosis and treatment plan, scaling, white filling placement after cavity removal, simple and surgical tooth extractions, root canal therapy, gum surgery, crown placement, clear braces, certified in implant.

Dr. Choi is a currently member of the:

  • Royal College of Dental surgeons of Ontario
  • Ontario Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • American dental Association

At his own free time, Dr. Choi would like to spend the time with his wife, Jin-Lee, and his daughter, Audrey.
